Welcome to the RPCVs of Colorado website!
We connect returned volunteers to one another, to our local community, and to the world for continued service, outreach, and support.
The Returned Peace Corps Volunteers of Colorado (RPCVCO) started in the 1970s with informal group gatherings of like-minded RPCVs and VISTA alumn living in the Denver area. From these humble beginnings, the Peace Corps Vista Alumni of Colorado was born, receiving non-profit status in 1985 and changing to the current name in 2008. Throughout the decades, RPCVCO has remained focused on its mission to connect RPCVs to one another, to our local community, and to the world for continued service, outreach, and support.
Now one of the larger state-based organizations for RPCVs and others in the Peace Corps Community, RPCVCO regularly connects with 1800+ individuals statewide, 350 plus of whom are members of the organization. RPCVCO is led by the nine-person board of directors and supported by volunteers that organize and host various events across the state.
